Hello FWNLL Families,

The Covid-19 situation is truly an extraordinary time for us all. The situation has literally touched every segment of our lives, including a major impact on the FWNLL spring 2020 season. While there have been many disruptions, we truly believe that together we are all going to get through this.

Due to the extended stay at home order per Governor Inslee, and the impact it has had on our community, Federal Way National Little League must postpone the Spring 2020 season. The unfortunate timing of the Covid-19 pandemic is that we were literally about to start our seasons. All uniforms, baseballs, softballs and other field equipment were purchased, and our first games were
going to happen within days of the delay.

However, we have great news! We are excited to present a reimagined plan for our Fall season which would incorporate all Spring teams across all divisions, baseball & softball, and would include end of the season tournaments for upper divisions. We are calling this "Spring into Fall!" Our goal is to duplicate the spring experience - with even better weather - and get every coach and player that was already assigned to a team in Spring and keep that team together to play in the Fall season. We also have a plan if not every participant returns for Spring into Fall.

FWNLL has partnered with a local sanitization company who will clean, disinfect, and sanitize the entire complex prior to the Fall season and regularly throughout the season. We will be following strict guidelines laid out by state and local government in adherence to local health and CDC requirements to help ensure the safety of all players and families.

With the proposed phases for reopening our state, we will be able to begin practices in Phase 3, projected at the end of July. In Phase 4 we will be able to play games - which would be scheduled from early August into early October. Yes, playoff ball in October!

1. Stay and Play

I want to play Fall ball which will be like Spring ball, possibly starting end of July and going through the first couple weeks of October.

If you choose this option email refund@fwnll.org with the subject of Stay and Play. In the email just let us know your player(s) name and age(s). We will move your Spring registration to the Fall season. No additional fees and no need to reregister for the Fall season. (Yes, your friends can play too even if they weren't registered for Spring ball! Sign ups will be open by June 16th)

2. Consider making your registration fee a donation.

I do not want to play fall ball, but I will donate my player fees as a donation to the league. FWNLL is a federally recognized non-profit organization. Your donation to our league is a fully deductible charitable contribution on your 2020 tax return and is greatly appreciated by the league.

Please email refund@fwnll.org with the subject of Donation. In the email include your player(s) name and age(s). Taking no action by June 15th, your players fee will default to this option.

3. 2020 Spring Refund

I cannot play Fall ball and I would like to request a refund.
For us to process your refund please email refund@fwnll.org with the subject Refund. In the email include the following information

Player(s) name and age(s)
Name to whom the check should be payable
Address to send the check.

Please allow up to 3 weeks for us to process your refund request.
